Our Arctic  Northeast cod and haddock fishery was certified in April 2012. We were the 5st French fishing vessels owner who get certified.

Mission

The MSC’s mission is to use its label and fisheries certification program to help improve ocean health by recognizing and rewarding sustainable fishing practices and guiding consumers in their choices.

MSC Solutions

The MSC was created through a partnership between WWF and Unilever in 1997 with the aim of:

Recognizing and rewarding sustainable and well-managed fisheries

Working with stakeholders in the fishing industry to shift the seafood market towards sustainability

Making it easy for consumers to identify sustainable seafood

The MSC has been an independent organization since 1999.
